Foreign & PCT Patent Filing
In addition to our domestic work, Cantor Colburn also regularly files and prosecutes a large volume of applications that originate from countries outside the U.S. We handle work from Europe, Asia, the Middle East and anywhere else inventors are advancing the state of the art.
By the same token, many of our domestic clients require international patent protection to supplement their U.S. patent portfolios. Cantor Colburn has a wealth of Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) experience and relationships with a wide array of IP firms around the world. We can handle international filings, liaise with local counsel in any jurisdiction and manage entire international patent portfolios.
We represent the international IP interests of a broad range of domestic clients. Much of our work involves highly complex technical subject matter, including power generation systems, semi-conductor manufacturing, computer science, nanotechnology, aeronautical and automotive technologies, alternative energy technologies, communication systems, medical devices, chemistry and biotechnology.
