David P. Hudyma, Jr., and Samantha R. Thompson Join Cantor Colburn’s Detroit Office
Cantor Colburn LLP is pleased to announce the addition of two new attorneys to its Detroit office, further strengthening the firm's presence and commitment to serving clients across Michigan. David P. Hudyma, Jr., a patent attorney and former in house counsel at General Motors, and Samantha R. Thompson, a trademark attorney with valuable experience in helping small business grow, bring comprehensive and complementary strength that enhances the firm’s ability to serve clients across the full spectrum of intellectual property law.
“Dave has a sharp understanding of how intellectual property can drive business success,” said Philmore H. Colburn II, Managing Partner of Cantor Colburn. “He brings not only deep technical and in-house experience, but also insights that extend well beyond the IP space. Dave is widely respected by colleagues and well known throughout the industry for his collaborative approach and strategic thinking.”
“Samantha is a highly regarded attorney in the greater Detroit area, known for her work with growing businesses as they advance to their next phase of development,” said Phil. “Her proven ability to cultivate enduring relationships, combined with her deep expertise and thoughtful approach, reflects the qualities our clients consistently value.”
Cantor Colburn, one of the largest and most productive full-service intellectual property law firms in the country, first established its Detroit office in 2006 and has maintained a strong presence in the region’s business and legal community ever since.
