ダニエル・レントは、アジアの企業へのサービスに注力しているパートナーであり、特化したアジア関連の知識と経験を有する、弁護士、特許弁護士、サポートスタッフから成る専門チームの責任者でもあります。過去にはアジアに居住し知財弁護士として勤務していたこともあり、また、青年期にはマレーシアとシンガポールの学校で学生として数年を過ごしたこともあります。また、大規模な国際法律事務所であるリード・スミス（Reed Smith）のニューヨークシティーオフィスで知財アソシエイトとして働いていたこともあり、この時にも多くの時間をアジア関連の仕事に費やしました。現在は、日本、中国、インド、シンガポール、台湾などのクライアントによる、米国での特許取得の業務に主に携わっています。また、レントは、頻繁にアジアを訪問しており、この訪問の際に、知財訴訟、侵害、契約、ライセンスなどに関して、アジアの企業および法律・特許事務所に助言をしております。
