Presentation to the Japanese Patent Office 2017

Daniel P. Lent, partner and Chair of Cantor Colburn's Japanese Practice, has been invited by the Intellectual Property Division of the Chubu Bureau of Economy, Trade and Industry, a part of the Japanese government, to give a seminar to 100 patent attorneys, IP professionals, and local enterprises in Nagoya, Japan on November 14, 2017.

Dan's presentations are, “Useful USPTO Pilot Programs and After Final Rejection Programs,” “Recent U.S. Federal Circuit and Supreme Court Cases,” and “Technology Transfer Strategies.” During his trip, Dan will be part of a delegation of U.S. patent attorneys that will visit the Director and officials of the Japan Patent Office and the Chief Judge of the IP High Court. Dan was part of the bi-annual delegation in 2015, as well.
