David is a frequent speaker at intellectual property conferences and continuing legal education programs. He is a member of the Connecticut and New York Bar Associations and serves as Co‑Chair of the Patent Committee of the NYC Bar Association. He is also President of the Connecticut Intellectual Property Law Association.

Throughout his career, David has served as both in‑house and outside counsel to some of the largest and most recognizable Fortune 500 companies. In these roles, he has been responsible for developing, managing, and executing global patent protection strategies across business and technology teams. He has led enterprise‑wide efforts to identify and protect high‑value technology assets, managed patent procurement activities, and coordinated patent prosecution work among in‑house and outside counsel worldwide.
