Charles Kim, Director of the Office of Petitions, U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), will speak on Recent Development of AI IP Policy in the USPTO. Sung Wook Kooh, Counsel at Cantor Colburn, will attend.

Sung is a Korean and U.S. patent attorney. Prior to joining the firm, Sung practiced for more than thirteen years at Samsung Electronics managing the IP prosecution team, where he oversaw patent prosecution in the United States and Korea, patent portfolio management and strategy development worldwide, patent infringement/validity analysis, licensing negotiations, patent maps, design-around, enrolling patents in standard patent pools, buying patents, and IP due diligence.

Cantor Colburn has a dedicated Korean Practice Group which has assisted Korean companies with their IP in the U.S. for many years.
