David Bomzer at New York City Bar Association 2026 Intellectual Property Conference
Cantor Colburn Partner David Bomzer will serve as leader for the USPTO/PTAB Developments panel at the New York City Bar Association’s third annual Intellectual Property Conference on March 23, 2026 in New York City. This full day, CLE program will provide a comprehensive overview of recent trends, developments, and cutting-edge issues in intellectual property and beyond, including ethics. David is Co-Chair of the NYC Bar's Patents Committee.
The USPTO/PTAB panel will address key developments affecting patent practice, including updates to subject matter eligibility, induced infringement in light of the Supreme Court’s recent grant of certiorari in Hikma Pharmaceuticals v. Amarin Pharmaceuticals, and new developments at both the USPTO and the Patent Trial and Appeal Board. The discussion will also explore emerging trends in written description and enablement law and their practical implications for practitioners.
