Leah Reimer Named One of the Top 250 Women in IP 2018

Cantor Colburn LLP is pleased to announce that Leah M. Reimer, Ph.D. has been named one of the Top 250 Women in IP for 2018 by Managing Intellectual Property. This honor recognizes women IP practitioners in private practice who have performed exceptionally for their clients and firms in the past year. Dr. Reimer was also selected in 2016, the award’s inaugural year, and in 2017. The selection process comprises interviews and surveys, from which only a small subset are selected.

Dr. Reimer is the Co-Chair of Cantor Colburn’s Chemical, Materials, and Life Sciences Department. She provides Fortune 50 and other technology-based companies with sophisticated, creative solutions to complex legal and technical issues. Her counsel is fully supported by the knowledge and experience gained through her Ph.D. in organic chemistry, her work as a research chemist at DowElanco, and her success as an IP attorney. Dr. Reimer teaches Advanced Patent Law at her alma mater, the University of Connecticut School of Law. Her other honors include being a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation, being a Finalist for Women of Innovation, being a Connecticut Bar Foundation James W. Cooper Life Fellow, and being designated twice by the Connecticut Law Tribune as a Woman of the Law High Achiever.
