Dennis Jakiela Joins Capital Classics' Board of Directors

December 10, 2022
Dennis Jakiela, Ph.D., Patent Agent at Cantor Colburn, has been appointed to the Capital Classics Board of Directors for a one-year term. He has been a volunteer leader with the nonprofit organization for several years, born out of his love for the plays of William Shakespeare.
Capital Classics is a nonprofit theater company which produces the Greater Hartford Shakespeare Festival outdoors every summer, as well as Contemporary Classics Conservations in January, and Halloween-themed live radio theater in October, all at the University of St. Joseph in West Hartford.

As a longstanding volunteer who has helped with fundraising – including getting Cantor Colburn involved as a regular sponsor of the summer festival has helped Capital Classics fulfill its mission of making Shakespeare accessible – both affordable and as well as understandable and relatable. Capital Classics also develops the talents of aspiring actors and actresses by giving them opportunities to perform and develop.
