Eugene Kwon and Samantha Page, Ph.D. Promoted to Senior Patent Agent at Cantor Colburn
Eugene has extensive experience in the areas of electrical engineering, computer engineering, and semiconductor devices and processing methods. He is experienced in drafting and prosecuting patent applications related to the technical areas, including display, electronic circuitry, signal processing, RF communication, and health care systems for electronics companies including Fortune 100 companies. He has a bachelor's and a master's in electrical engineering and has done Ph.D. coursework in electrical engineering.
Samantha has extensive experience in polymers and materials science, specifically on matters related to polymer chemistry, polymer composites, nanotechnology, and chemical engineering. Before joining Cantor Colburn, Samantha completed her Ph.D. in the Polymer Science and Engineering Department at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, focusing on synthetic polymer chemistry. Her doctoral research centered on developing a new synthetic polymer-based platform for biomedical applications, though her time at UMass provided exposure to a variety of polymers tailored for different applications including polymer/nanoparticle composites, polymer assembly, and polymers for electronic applications. She works closely with various leading polymer materials companies as well as major research universities, with technologies ranging from monomer synthesis through end-use applications.
