David Bomzer, panelist, for Intellectual Property Law Updates: 2025 in Review

Cantor Colburn partner David Bomzer will serve as a presenter for Intellectual Property Law Updates: 2025 in Review, a CLE webinar presented by the Connecticut Bar Association (CBA), reviewing key intellectual property developments from 2025. The program will cover recent activity at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, the Patent Trial and Appeal Board, and the U.S. Supreme Court, with a focus on how these developments impact IP practice. The session will highlight the most significant changes from the past year and offer practical takeaways to help practitioners make informed, strategic decisions in their IP work.
David has served as both in‑house and outside counsel to major Fortune 500 companies, responsible for developing and managing global patent protection strategies and overseeing patent procurement efforts. His experience includes leading cross‑functional teams, identifying and protecting high‑value technology assets, and managing IP strategy from an in‑house perspective. David also has a strong background in patent prosecution, transactions, and post‑grant matters, and regularly lectures on intellectual property topics. He is a frequent speaker and thought leader on IP topics. He is Treasurer of the CBA.
