Varsha Pednekar is a Ph.D. trained scientist with a diverse technical background spanning chemistry to cancer biology. Her experience includes work in technology transfer: analyzing market and commercialization potential of invention disclosures, examining freedom to operate issues for inventions, marketing and licensing inventions. She brings in 10+ years of research experience, during her doctoral work she studied the role of DNA repair in cancer causing mutations and as a postdoctoral candidate she evaluated the effect of environmental mutagens in plastics and their effect on the cancer micro-environment at a research driven cancer institute. She has also worked as liaison between industrial partners and the internal team at a start-up in Connecticut.
