Bob brings a wealth of intellectual property experience to Cantor Colburn. Bob has served in a variety of corporate positions including Chief Patent Counsel and Vice President of Intellectual Property and Licensing at Raytheon Company, and Associate General Counsel and Chief Intellectual Property Counsel at United Technologies Corporation. Bob has managed litigation, licensing, IP strategy, trade secret issues, IP procurement, IP administration, right to use decisions, government contracting issues, and all the other issues that arise in large companies having over 40 IP attorneys.
Bob has served on the Board of IPO for twenty years, as an officer of IPO and has chaired its Amicus Committee. Bob has served on the Executive Committee of the Association of Corporate Patent Counsel (ACPC), including as the former President. Bob has also served in a variety of other positions in professional and charitable organizations.
Bob focuses his practice at Cantor Colburn on mentoring younger professionals. He is also available for strategic and consulting engagements.
