Michael is a registered patent attorney whose practice focuses on drafting and prosecuting patent applications within the areas of electrical, software, and mechanical device technologies. Specifically, he has experience in machine learning systems, task-oriented dialog systems, logic built-in self-test systems, time-series representation learning systems, cloud computing, microprocessor architectures, microprocessor optimization systems, surveillance monitoring systems, RAID fault tolerance systems, location tracking systems, software implemented methods, computer networking/networking technologies, remote access architectures, advertisement distribution architectures, robotically assisted surgical devices, suction catheter systems, pit latrine emptying systems, spinal vertebrae stabilization systems, and other related technologies.
Prior to becoming an attorney, Michael researched fluid engineering technology and also managed data acquisition and verification for a leading independent research firm. As an undergraduate at Georgia Tech, Michael was actively involved with the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, Society of Physics Students, and the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers.
