John concentrates his practice on assisting clients in various areas including small molecule chemistry, medicinal chemistry, process chemistry, peptide and protein conjugates, biomass conversion for renewable chemicals and renewable fuels production, petrochemicals, catalysis, etc. Prior to joining Cantor Colburn, John earned a Ph.D. in organic chemistry and did postdoctoral research on the total synthesis and medicinal chemistry of anti-cancer natural product drug molecules. He worked as a scientist in industry, doing research in the pharmaceutical and renewable fuels and chemicals areas. With 20 years' experience as a scientist and a patent agent, John brings unique knowledge and experience to assist clients build strong and valuable patent portfolios.
