Andrew Doherty concentrates his practice on drafting and prosecuting patents for mechanical and electrical innovations. In particular, he has experience with patent issues relating to mobile devices, consumer and industrial electronics, e-commerce, financial technology, wireless technology, software, telecommunications, and mechanical inventions. While Andrew’s practice focuses on patent drafting and prosecution, Andrew also has experience in patent litigation, having previously defended clients from patent infringement suits relating to telecommunications and cellular technologies.  He has performed patent invalidity and non-infringement assessments, intellectual property due diligence, counseling and portfolio management and he has prepared a wide variety of agreements, including licensing and development agreements for software and other technologies.
