2019 Wisconsin Biohealth Summit
Karen LeCuyer, Ph.D. will attend the 2019 Wisconsin Biohealth Summit on October 2, 2019 in Madison, Wisconsin, presented by BioForward. The annual Biohealth Summit serves as Wisconsin’s platform to highlight its diverse biohealth community and collaborate on new challenges and opportunities.
Karen received her Ph.D. in Biophysical Chemistry from Yale University. Karen provides patent representation to clients working in the disciplines of chemistry, pharmaceuticals, life science, biotechnology, materials science, and other areas. She has more than 10 years of experience in patent application, preparation, and prosecution, in the U.S. and overseas. Karen has also prepared patentability, invalidity, infringement/non-infringement, and freedom-to-operate opinions, particularly in the area of Abbreviated New Drug Application certifications. Additionally, Karen has extensive experience in patent searching as well as assisting clients to develop a proactive patent strategy for their products. Prior to practicing patent law, Karen was an assistant professor of biochemistry at the University of Connecticut Health Center.
