Before beginning his career as an IP attorney, Dave was an engineer and product development manager; he is an inventor on 37 U.S. patents.

Dave has written a series of articles on intellectual property, Guide to Patents and IP, covering the strategy and mechanics behind inventions and monetizing them. The series has become a go-to for novices as well as experienced patent prosecutors.
