Alexander Viderman participated as a volunteer judge at 2019 American Mock Trial Association New Haven Regional Tournament on February 16 and 17, 2019 at Yale University.

Alexander’s focus is in preparation and prosecution of patent applications relating to a wide range of technologies, with particular concentration on wireless communications networks, devices, technologies, and standards (e.g., 3GPP/LTE/LTE-Advanced, Wi-Fi/802.11, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth/802.15, HotSpot, NFC), cloud computing infrastructure, graphics processing software, graphics encoding standards (e.g., H.264/AVC and H.265/HEV), image analysis and recognition, semiconductor device architecture and fabrication, integrated circuits, computer and computing system architecture, network design and architecture, cross-platform integration architecture, business analytics software and methods, and data encryption.

Prior to private practice, Alex was a patent engineer for IBM, where he wrote original U.S. utility patent applications and responded to USPTO Office Actions. He also has experience as a patent agent for a Connecticut intellectual property boutique. Prior to attending law school, Alex worked as a senior software engineer and quality assurance engineer for several firms and innovative startups in the software development and telecommunications industries in New York and Connecticut. Alex is a Sun certified Java programmer.
