Partner Bill Cass and co-author Thomas Kurfess wrote "Rethinking Additive Manufacturing and Intellectual Property Protection," published in the September-October 2014 issue of Research-Technology Management.  Cass co-chairs the firm's Additive Manufacturing Practice Group and is a frequent speaker on the topic. Kurfess is Professor and HUSCO/Ramirez Distinguished Chair in Fluid Power and Motion Control at Georgia Tech's School of Mechanical Engineering. Research-Technology Management, published since 1958, is the bi-monthly journal of the Industrial Research Institute.
