UConn Health Center White Coat Gala 2016

Cantor Colburn is proud to be a returning sponsor of the UConn Health White Coat Gala, which honors the “white coats” worn by the men and women breaking new ground in the lab and providing exceptional, personalized patient care.

The White Coat Gala proceeds support UConn Health’s important campus expansion as well as vital cancer research and patient care programs.

The 2016 Carole and Ray Neag Medal of Honor Recipients are:

Bess Economos, co-founder of the Lea’s Foundation for Leukemia Research and Pramod Srivastava, PhD, MD, Director of the Carole and Ray Neag Comprehensive Cancer Center will be honored at this year’s White Coat Gala.

The Lea’s Foundation for Leukemia Research supports clinical trials and patient programs for leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s lymphoma, and multiple myeloma in Connecticut and founded the Lea’s Foundation Center for Hematologic Disorders at UConn Health in 2006.

Pramod Srivastava PhD, MD, Director and a long-time supporter of the Carole and Ray Neag Comprehensive Cancer Center, brings a career of groundbreaking discoveries in immunology and oncology. Highly accomplished in basic and translational research, Dr. Srivastava is leading the first genomics-based clinical trial for an ovarian cancer vaccine.
