Cantor Colburn Sponsors CIPLA Judge's Dinner
Cantor Colburn is pleased to sponsor the Connecticut Intellectual Property Law Association's Judge's Dinner on May 11, 2017. Attorneys Grant Ehrlich is the Vice President and Michael Rye is a past president.
CIPLA welcomed Judge Jimmie V. Reyna of the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit as the event's keynote speaker. Judge Reyna joined the Court in 2011 after being appointed by President Barack Obama. Judge Reyna has authored hundreds of opinions during his tenure, including the recent opinion in McRo, Inc., DBA Planet Blue v. Bandai Namco Games America Inc. et al. concerning subject matter eligibility under 35 U.S.C. 101. Prior to his appointment, Judge Reyna was an international trade attorney and shareholder at Williams Mullen.
